Read for free?!

There are of course many perks for living in London. And rightly so, given that just about everything costs more here. But wait… that’s not all true.

On my commute to work, I can pick up a newspaper both ways in the form of the Metro and the Evening Standard, which offers a fairly good debriefing of current affairs. Even better than this to me is the fantastic free magazines scattered around the city, found in stations, coffee shops and record stores.

Here are a few of my favourites: Crack, DIY, Vice, Escapism, NME and Loud And Quiet.
